So with it being very still and hardly any wind I drove down the Ayrshire coast to just outside the village of Dunure...

I'd taken some painting gear along and had a couple of relaxing hours sitting plein air style painting the underpainting of the vista across the Firth Of Clyde To the Isle Of Arran...

It's the 25th international jazz festival weekend on the Isle of Bute...


A couple of my abstract paintings will be available for viewing at the 18 East Gallery Rothesay on the Isle Of Bute from tomorrow the 3rd of May...

" Fiesta Time " (above) is a vibrant painting and my interpretation of happy celebratory times like a party,wedding reception or just plain feeling good...

Warm colours dominate expressing happiness...

The second one (below)entitled " Force Of Gold " is my interpretation of a global currency collapse because of quantitative easing and the precious metal becoming the worldwide trading currency...
